Stacks of fresh beats to check in this edition of the Subtle Audio show including a couple of amazing tracks from a brand new EP called 'Truth & Lies' by Fanu due out later this week and a couple from the dream team of Enjoy & Stretch which feature on their new album project 'The Last Ronin' which will be shipping out very soon - there's a handful of copies left on the AKO Bandcamp at the time of writing ... Recent beats include rhythms from the likes of DJ Ink, Facs, If Read & Limit, Dave Hoax, Nebula (though 'Jazz Retro' is actually from 3 years back at this stage!) and I have to give a special mention to an absolutely ridiculous digital EP Dub One released on his Bandcamp last Friday featuring the long, long awaited 'Irration' and also 'Pigments', a tune I've been caning for the last few months on radio. You can check Pigments in this set around the 37 minute mark and definitely get on over and check out the full release on Bandcamp. Further forthcoming bits include music from Dodz, Krugah, Recon and 1 other Sade sampling tune I can't give further details on for the moment.

Played a few tracks from Limerick / Treaty City based producers (seeing as this show was broadcast on the day the Limerick hurling team won the All-Ireland title for the 3rd time in 4 years!)tunes including 2 from K3Bee, 1 from myself and 1 from a band who had some releases as far back as 1998 under the name of 'Rhythm For Radars' - Tony Roche, Jenny McMahon and Graeme Conway currently go under the name of Delorean Suite and favour a more house-flavoured style but when I first came across them in the late nineties they were more on a DnB / Downtempo / Trip-hop kind of buzz and even played a mean live set at the time - still love this track of theirs called 'Shine' that ends the show.

Also played a few older bits from the late 90's to the mid 2000's from the likes of DJ Damage, Sileni, Dom & Optical, Digital (remixed by Keaton), Equinox and Scorpio (aka Roni Size & DJ Die) - I've played this alot over the years, but the more time goes by, the better this gets.
