Blast a Drum & Bass producer and DJ from Porto, where he currently resides. Lover of all the sub-genres of this type music, started his professional career in 2007 as part of the yellow-stripe collective, representing mainly the darker sounds that drum and bass has to offer.
After playing with the best names in the scene, during which he demonstrated his technique in various sets, he achieved a milestone on the national scene as one of the best DJs at the moment.
His first release was created in Porto’s label Counterpoint, where he explored his experimental, under the name Blueshift, which aims to address sounds more dedicated to electronic music and minimal drum and bass.
It was followed by his first EP on Yellow-Stripe recordings shortly after, which provided excellent feedback and permanently introduced him to the world of hard dnb world.
Blast is in this moment preparing his 3rd EP with the Belgian label, future sickness, which features collaborations with some of the world's most renowned dnb artists.
2019 it’s being a decisive moment in his career as he’s announced as part of the Konnect a portuguese event promoter, as well as the creation of the label Surveillance Music, in which he’s a founding member in conjunction with Fragz.
The goal of Surveillance Music is to work with national and international artists, emerging or already established names on the world scene.
The years of experience and knowledge of all members guarantee a good quality label, through a top-level graphic concept and sound, with an extraordinary selection of themes that represent what is best this days, maintaining an identity and consistency that characterize.
