The idea of "we have Dnb at home mix" started a year ago when I played a set consisting of only my productions at PoJanie fest 2022. After this I immediately decided I wanted to expand the project not only to my music but to many other polish producers and put the mix together with fellow Djs. Because I have the privilege to run” PoJanie Fest” with my amazing group of friends I had an opportunity to do it exactly the way I wanted. Tom Encore and Inside Defect were obvious choices for me, because they are amazing at what they do but also because we have been friends for years.
Tom Encore is one of the most versatile electronic music producers in Poland doing it for almost 20 years. He produced Dnb, dubstep, breakbeats and also has the successful alias “Skarby” under which he makes more melodic kinds of electronic music.
Inside Defect is another prolific producer with a very good technical skill who has a lot of brilliant tunes about to be released.
We put together a selection of what we believe is the best drum'n'bass music produced in Poland right now.
We had two goals in mind - first one to create a very diverse mix ranging from liquid, dancefloor through deep to neurofunk, and second one find as many new interesting producers as possible.I believe we succeeded with both of these goals. There is so much talent right now in the Polish Dnb scene I believe it's unprecedented.
Starting with well established heavyweights like Satl or Silence groove releasing on massive labels for years but also amazing newcomers like Lukher or Tesseracts with releases on Modus, DIVIDID, Eatbrain, Symbiotik Pilot. I'm really happy and proud we came through with this project , cannot thank enough to Tom Encore and Inside Defect for trusting me to go into this project and also to all producers who provided the tunes. Really hoping you guys will enjoy listening to it as much as we did making it. And this is just a start – the next round of “We have dnb @ home mix” with another interesting Djs & Producers happens next June at PoJanie Fest 2025.
