Alot of forthcoming beats in this set including tunes from a new label run by Toronto DnB/Jungle legend, Frankie Gunns - Dodz and Krugah have supplied the beats for the first 2 releases on Gunns Road Music and if they're anything to go by then we've alot to look forward to. Further future treats from the likes of Polska, Mecca, Abstract Drumz, Equinox (a solo effort aswell as a wicked remix of dgoHn) and DJ Future who made a monster remix of a classic mid-nineties atmospheric tune from DJ Trace - 'By Any Means Necessary' a few years back that hasn't seen the light of day as of yet.
Been alot of top releases over the last few months, featured quite a few of my favourites over the 2 hours from Instruction Set, Enjoy & Eschaton, Arcon 2, Peeb, Abstract Drumz, DYL (remixed by Booca), Kaizen (aka Recon) and 2 from Limit on Dissymmetrical - one of his own as well as a collab with If-Read that's a proper anthem.
Few classics here too, was looking for my vinyl copy of Dom's 'Can't Punish Me' EP release that featured his 'Firewire' tune for quite awhile and finally found it buried in the shelves in time to play it here. Other oldies include Mutt's Dilla tribute track 'Hot Lick Squeeze' on Creative Source, PFM's 'Love & Happiness' on Good Looking, 'Hideous Kinky' by Future Cut on C.I.A, Soul Intent's half-step killer 'Jus Vibe', a fave of mine from Breakage's amazing back catalogue on the legendary Inperspective label and one of my fave Calibre remixes - his rolling re-version of 'Global Love' by High Contrast.
